The drive

Three ways in from Sharjah, all under 40 minutes when the road is clear.

Times and distances below are what Google Maps returned for central Sharjah to VR Point on 9 September 2026 with usual traffic. Check the live estimate before you leave; the Sharjah to Dubai roads carry commuter traffic towards Dubai on weekday mornings and back on weekday evenings, so a slot after 19:00 or at the weekend usually means driving against the flow.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, E311, then Al Khail Road, E4446.9 km36 minLonger, but it starts on the E311 side of Sharjah, next to Muwaileh and University City.
From Ajman, E1150.8 km44 minAjman adds roughly 12 minutes to the Sharjah times.

Once in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, follow 19D Street into Goshi Warehouse City and look for the lit VR POINT sign at Unit 101. Paid parking is inside the guarded complex, free street parking is outside it, and one free spot at our entrance can be reserved by WhatsApp before you leave home. That reservation is the first thing we suggest to anyone driving in from another emirate.

Which slot

When Sharjah groups come, and why.

Friday and Saturday evenings

We are open until 02:00 on both nights, so a 21:00 or 22:00 slot leaves time for dinner first and an easy drive back. These are the busiest hours of the week; book a few days ahead.

Weekday afternoons

Monday to Thursday between 14:00 and 18:00 the arena is at its quietest and the road from Sharjah is against the commuter flow. These are the easiest slots to get and the only ones where a same-day booking usually works.

Two sessions in one trip

If you have driven 40 minutes, one 30-minute mission can feel short. A second mission played straight after the first is 15% cheaper per player, and you get a different world: five to choose from, from a zombie bunker to a treasure hunt for players from age 8.

Birthdays and groups

From 10 guests a Squad package closes the venue to your group for 1.5 to 4 hours with pizzas and a drink per guest, so the Sharjah party drives once and stays for the afternoon. Packages start at 2,000 AED and are confirmed on WhatsApp.

Worth the drive

What you get for 35 minutes on the road.

1

The arena is yours

Every session is private: 2 to 5 players in a 100 m² arena with nobody else inside. You walk, crouch and shoot on foot with full-body tracking, and the arena adds wind, heat and scents. We are the only venue in the UAE that combines full-body motion tracking with 4D effects.

2

A Game Master for your group

One person fits the gear, briefs the world, stays in contact during the mission and reads out the scores at the end. Most of our guests are first-timers, and nobody needs gaming experience. Children play from age 8.

3

A lounge, not a corridor

Before and after the mission your group has the lounge: leather sofas, barista coffee, cold drinks, a live screen of the game for the people who watch, and a PlayStation corner. Spectators are free. Rated 4.9 by 400+ guests on Google.

Making an evening of it: Alserkal Avenue, with its galleries and cafés, is 3.4 km away, about 10 minutes by car, and Downtown Dubai is 13 km down Sheikh Zayed Road. Plan about an hour at VR Point for one session: arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your slot for the briefing and the gear, then 25 to 30 minutes of play, the scores and the lounge. The full price list, discounts and packages are on the prices page.

Questions

What guests from Sharjah ask before they book.

How far is VR Point from Sharjah?

38.8 km from central Sharjah via Sheikh Zayed Road, 32 minutes in usual traffic according to Google Maps on 9 September 2026. From Al Nahda and the Sharjah side of the border the drive is shorter; from Muwaileh most people take E311 and Al Khail Road, about 47 km and 36 minutes.

Is there VR like this closer to Sharjah?

There are VR venues in the northern emirates, and for a quick headset session they are nearer. What you drive to Al Quoz for is a private free-roam arena with full-body tracking and 4D effects, which is not something we know of anywhere else in the UAE. Our comparison of Dubai VR arenas lists formats and prices side by side.

We will arrive late because of traffic. Do we lose the slot?

Message us on WhatsApp from the road. Nothing is prepaid, and if the next slot is free we simply move you. On Friday and Saturday evenings the arena is usually booked back to back, so leave a margin.

Where do we park?

Paid parking inside the guarded Goshi Warehouse City complex, free street parking outside it, and one free spot at our entrance that you can reserve in advance on WhatsApp.

Can we come with children?

Yes. Diamond Skull, the treasure adventure, is for players from age 8; the other four worlds start at 10. Younger siblings and parents who do not play watch the live screen in the lounge for free.

How late can we book on a Friday?

The last mission starts around 01:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, when we close at 02:00. Sunday to Thursday we close at midnight. A 22:00 slot on a Friday puts you back in Sharjah well before 01:00.

Pick a slot, reserve the parking spot, drive down.

160 AED per player, 10% off when you book through the site, nothing paid in advance. Coming from Abu Dhabi instead? See the Abu Dhabi page.
