About VR Point Dubai
VR Point is a 250 m² private venue in Goshi Warehouse City, Al Quoz, with a 100 m² free-roam VR arena and a 150 m² lounge. We are the only venue in the UAE that combines full-body motion tracking with 4D effects in the room, and every session is private to the group that booked it. This page is who we are, what we built and the facts we ask you to hold us to.
Why we built it
Dubai had VR you sit in. We wanted VR you run in.
When we started planning the venue, virtual reality in Dubai mostly meant a mall park: a chair, a headset, a two-minute ride, then the next queue. It is fun, and it is not what we wanted to build. We wanted the version where a group walks into an empty room, the room disappears, and for half an hour five people are inside the same world on their own feet, covering each other, arguing about which corridor to take. The technology to do that properly, with the whole body tracked and the room itself reacting, existed in Switzerland. We brought it to Al Quoz and opened in autumn 2025.
The second decision was just as important as the first: nobody shares the arena with strangers. A pair on a Tuesday afternoon and a company of thirty on a Thursday night both get the room to themselves, with a Game Master who stays with the group. That costs us slots. It is also the reason people write the reviews they write.
The technology, in plain words
What “full-body 4D free-roam” actually means.
Free-roam
You walk, crouch and turn inside a 100 m² arena, and the game follows. No cables, no backpacks, no joystick pushing you forward. Because your body moves the way your eyes expect, most guests feel little or no motion sickness.
Full-body tracking
Sensors on the head, hands, torso and legs, so your whole body is in the game, not a floating pair of hands. Your teammates see you move the way you actually move. The system is Swiss-engineered.
4D effects
The room reacts: wind when you run, heat near fire, scent in certain scenes, and recoil in the weapon when you fire. Tactile suits add physical feedback when you are hit. This is the part no other UAE venue combines with full-body tracking, as far as their own pages show.
Live scoring
Every round produces per-player stats on the lounge screens, and the lounge sees the arena feed live. For events we run brackets and leaderboards, and a company can put its logo on the board.
The venue
Two rooms, one booking.
The arena is 100 m² and takes up to five players per round. The lounge is 150 m²: leather sofas, a specialty coffee bar with a barista and a V60 on the menu, a PlayStation corner, cold drinks, the alcohol-free VR Point Mojito, pizza and snacks on request, and a big screen with the live feed from the arena. For events the whole 250 m² closes to your group and outside catering is welcome. Everything is indoors and air-conditioned, which in Dubai is not a footnote.
The team
Hosts who stay in the room.
Every session has a Game Master who fits the gear, explains the world, and stays with the squad through the round. Our hosts run sessions and events in English, Arabic, Russian, French and German. Nobody needs prior VR experience, glasses fit under the headset, and the format works from age 10, with Diamond Skull from age 8. The team also runs the reception, the coffee bar and the WhatsApp line, which is why replies usually come from someone who was in the arena an hour earlier.
How we work
Three rules we do not bend.
1
Every session is private
Two players or five, the arena is yours for the round. We do not fill sessions with other customers.
2
No prepayment
A booking holds without a card. You pay at the venue by card or cash, or by tax invoice if a company is paying. Rescheduling is one WhatsApp message.
3
One price, any hour
160 AED per player at 11:00 on a Monday and at 23:00 on a Saturday. Group packages are priced for the group, not per head, and the price list is public on every page that mentions it.
