By using the Site, creating a booking, or entering the Premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

        • Bookings: You must be 18+ to make a booking or pay.

        • Participation: Minimum age to play is 8 years.

        • Minors: Participants under 18 require a parent/legal guardian to accept these Terms and sign any required waiver/consent.

        • Supervision: Children under 12 must have a responsible adult present on the Premises for the entire visit. We may ask for ID to verify age/identity.

        • On behalf of a group: If you book for others, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for the group and undertake to inform all participants of applicable rules, risks, and policies.

      4) Health, Safety and VR-Specific Risks

      VR is a physically and sensorily immersive activity. By participating, you confirm you are fit to take part and will follow all safety briefings and staff instructions.

      4.1 Medical Considerations (Self-Assessment)

      VR may cause or worsen: motion sickness, nausea, dizziness, vertigo, disorientation, imbalance, headaches, eye strain, blurred or double vision, neck/back strain, fatigue, anxiety/panic, and—in rare cases—loss of consciousness (fainting/syncope). Risks are higher for individuals with:

          • Vestibular (balance) disorders, severe motion sickness, Ménière’s disease, vertigo;

          • Photosensitivity or epilepsy/seizure history;

          • Serious cardiac conditions, uncontrolled hypertension;

          • Musculoskeletal injuries, recent surgeries, impaired mobility requiring assistive devices not compatible with our play areas;

          • Pregnancy (especially later stages);

          • Significant vision/hearing impairments affecting safe play.

        If you have any such conditions, do not book or play unless your healthcare professional has approved participation. Inform our staff before your session about any condition that might affect safe play.

        4.2 During and After Play

            • If you experience nausea, dizziness, disorientation, visual disturbance, chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, anxiety/panic, or any discomfort, stop immediately and notify staff.

            • Be aware that post-play disequilibrium can occur. Do not drive or operate machinery until you feel fully recovered and steady.

            • We are not a medical provider; first aid/incident procedures are in place, and emergency services will be called when appropriate.

          4.3 Fitness to Participate

          You must be able to stand and walk unassisted (unless a specific accessible experience is offered) and use both hands to operate equipment. If in doubt about suitability or accessibility accommodations, contact us beforehand.

          4.4 Mandatory Briefing; Right to Refuse

          You must attend the safety briefing and comply with all instructions. For safety, we may refuse participation or stop a session (without refund) if a guest appears unwell, intoxicated, non-compliant, or otherwise unsafe.

          5) Conduct, Equipment and Facility Rules

              • Follow staff instructions and posted rules at all times.

              • Prohibited conduct: running, pushing, roughhousing, aggressive or unsafe behavior, harassment or abuse, profanity that disrupts others, intentional damage/misuse of equipment.

              • Alcohol & drugs: No participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Entry/play may be refused if impairment is suspected.

              • Clothing/footwear: Wear comfortable, secure footwear; avoid loose items/jewelry that can snag equipment.

              • Food & beverages: Not permitted inside play areas. Drinks provided are for lounge/waiting zones only; handle hot drinks with care.

              • Unattended minors: We do not provide childcare. Do not leave children unattended.

              • Damage: You are responsible for intentional or negligent damage to equipment or facilities and may be charged repair/replacement costs (schedule available on request).

            6) Accessibility and Non-Discrimination

            VR POINT prohibits discrimination and will make reasonable accommodations for People of Determination in line with applicable UAE requirements. Please contact us in advance to discuss accessibility needs so we can advise on compatible experiences, assistance, and emergency procedures.

            7) Bookings, Pricing, VAT and Payment

                • Prices are in AED and inclusive of VAT (5%) unless stated otherwise.

                • A booking is formed when payment is successfully processed and a confirmation is issued (on-screen/email).

                • Payment methods: Major cards and other methods shown at checkout. Online payments are processed by secure payment gateways; VR POINT does not store full card numbers.

                • Invoices: If VAT-registered, we issue FTA-compliant tax invoices (with TRN) upon request or automatically for eligible transactions.

                • Promotions/vouchers: Subject to stated terms, validity periods and exclusions; typically one code per booking; non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.

              8) Arrival, Late Arrivals and No-Shows

              Please arrive 15 minutes before your slot for check-in and briefing. Sessions start on time and may run back-to-back.

                  • Late arrivals may have shortened sessions or be refused entry to an ongoing game for safety; no refunds/credits for time lost.

                  • No-shows are treated as forfeited bookings.

                9) Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

                    • General rule: Bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

                    • Rescheduling: One complimentary reschedule if requested ≥ 72 hours before your session (subject to availability). Later requests may incur a rebooking fee and are not guaranteed. No same-day reschedules.

                    • Our cancellation: If we cancel or cannot deliver your session (e.g., technical fault, safety closure, regulatory order, force majeure), you may choose a free reschedule or a full refund to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

                    • Medical exceptions: If a participant is medically unfit to play and you notify us in advance with supporting evidence, we may (at our discretion) provide a credit or refund.

                    • These remedies are without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer protections under applicable UAE law.

                  10) CCTV and Security Monitoring

                  We use CCTV video surveillance on the Premises for safety, security, loss prevention, incident investigation, and compliance.

                      • Signage indicates monitored areas.

                      • Recordings are accessed only by authorized personnel/contractors and not used for marketing without your express consent.

                      • Retention is limited to what is necessary for stated purposes (typically a short period, unless longer retention is required for investigations, legal claims, or regulatory reasons), after which footage is securely deleted.

                      • Upon lawful request and subject to identity verification, you may request access to footage in which you are identifiable, where technically feasible and without infringing others’ rights.

                    11) Privacy, Personal Data and Marketing (PDPL Compliance)

                    We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable UAE data protection requirements.

                    11.1 Roles and Purposes

                        • Controller: VR POINT is the controller for booking, customer management, on-site operations, safety, and CCTV.

                        • Processors/Partners: We may use payment providers, IT/hosting vendors, security providers, and—where our experiences are licensed—franchisor/technology partners who process limited data on our behalf.

                        • Purposes: Booking administration, identity/age verification, payments and fraud prevention, safety and incident management (including CCTV), customer support, analytics (using aggregated/pseudonymized data), and—with consent—direct marketing.

                          • Contract performance (to provide the service you requested);

                          • Legitimate interests (venue security, service improvement, fraud prevention);

                          • Consent (for direct marketing communications; for non-essential cookies/analytics where applicable).

                        11.3 Data Minimization, Retention and Security

                            • We collect only what is necessary; we keep data no longer than needed for the purposes or as required by law (e.g., financial record-keeping).

                            • We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. Payment card data is handled by certified payment gateways.

                          11.4 Sharing and Cross-Border Transfers

                              • We do not sell personal data.

                              • We share data with payment processors, IT/hosting/security vendors, advisors (legal/accounting), and franchisor/technology partners only as necessary and with appropriate safeguards.

                              • Where data is transferred outside the UAE, we rely on adequacy or appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses or binding rules) to protect your rights.

                            11.5 Your Rights

                            Subject to UAE law, you may have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent (for marketing/cookies) at any time. Contact: info@vrpoint.ae. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable time.

                            11.6 Breach Notification

                            In the event of a material personal data breach, we will follow applicable UAE notification requirements and inform affected individuals where legally required.

                                  • Please avoid spoilers: Do not publicly disclose puzzles, secrets, or narrative elements of our experiences so future guests can enjoy them.

                                  • Photography/recordings by us: We may take photos/videos on the Premises (e.g., group photos). We will seek your consent before using identifiable images for marketing. If you do not wish to appear, inform staff.

                                  You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of VR (Section 4), including potential nausea, dizziness, vertigo, motion sickness, disorientation, imbalance, slips/trips/falls, strain/sprain, emotional distress, and rare loss of consciousness. You agree to follow all instructions and play responsibly.

                                  15.2 Liability Exclusions (Subject to UAE Law)

                                  To the maximum extent permitted by law, VR POINT (and its employees/agents) shall not be liable for injury, illness, or property damage arising from:
                                  (a) your failure to follow instructions or rules;
                                  (b) your pre-existing health conditions;

                                  Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence. Subject to the foregoing and UAE law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for that booking (or AED 500 for Site-only claims). Any agreed liquidated sums or liability caps remain subject to any court-mandated adjustment where required by law.

                                  15.4 Indemnity for Damage and Breach

                                  You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VR POINT from losses, costs, and liabilities reasonably incurred as a result of your breach of these Terms or intentional/negligent damage to our equipment or facilities.

                                  16) Force Majeure

                                  We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power/network failures, fires, floods, severe weather, acts of God, war, terrorism, government orders/public health restrictions, strikes, or supply chain disruptions. We will endeavor to reschedule or refund as appropriate.

                                  17) Compliance, Sanctions and Advertising

                                      • We provide services in accordance with applicable UAE laws and regulations, including consumer protection, safety, data protection, and e-commerce requirements.

                                        • These Terms are provided in English. An Arabic translation may be prepared or required for court filings. In case of discrepancy, the Arabic version submitted to court may prevail to the extent required by UAE procedural rules.

                                        • These Terms and any non-contractual obligations are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

                                        • The courts of Dubai, UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections under UAE law.

                                      19) Changes to Services or Terms

                                      We may update services, pricing, and these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on the Site with the “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively. Continued use or new bookings after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms. Previously confirmed bookings remain governed by the Terms in force at the time of confirmation, unless a change is mandated by law.

                                          • No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our rights.

                                          • Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains effective; an invalid term will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to be valid.
